Sega has released 8-Bit Bayonetta on Steam. The game became the platform for Valve as a joke on April 1, the Aprils Fools’ Day, but it is still available there free of charge.
This small arcade 2D is an old acquaintance, in fact: in February 2015 Platinum published it on its website, as a substitute to the 404 error page, «perhaps to demonstrate Platinum there in games even when there is nothing», wrote then. (Now there is 404, but to a URL that does not exist takes you to the front page).
The game is still as simple as it was two years ago, but this time comes with surprise. If you look at the list of 8-Bit Bayonetta achievements, you will see that “In The Face” and “High Score” achievements have a hidden message, and together form the URL “sega.com/14111219”. The direction is a countdown that will finish within eight days and hours; the bottom of the web is an artwork of the first Bayonetta. There is nothing confirmed, so just wait until April 11, when finished the countdown, to see what lies behind this timer: If the anticipated port of Bayonetta for PC or Kamiya image making us a bald.
The first Bayonetta came out originally in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 between 2009 and 2010 (in Japan closed a year and opened the following in the rest of the world), and was well received by critics but did not sell too. 2014 was published in Bayonetta 2 Wii u, this time published by Nintendo, which welcomed the project and the sequel was exclusively; at the same time he left the first part, in pack with the second part.
