Resident Evil 7 is on sale from now itself. Why Capcom just released the launch trailer and why we yesterday wrote an analysis of the game. The good news is that more or less drastic changes – perspective, setting, tone-have become you wonderfully to a franchise that was perdidisima. The bad news, I suppose, is that you touch and talk about their DLC.
As explain its makers in the official blog, additional payment for this Resident Evil 7 content will come in two packages called Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol 2. Gather by the name that the resource of them tapes of video playable is will leverage also here to present scenarios more or less separate from the history main. The first DLC will have a sort of escape room – the objective is to escape from the bedroom where the US has locked Marguerite Baker – and the classic additive that will face us waves of enemies, as well as a new level of difficulty, Ethan Must Die, which for some reason will not be compatible with PlayStation VR. In the second package, more parallel stories: in 21 participated in a macabre game devised by Lucas Baker, in Daughters shows us the life of that crazy family of Louisiana before becoming Resident Evil 7 antagonists and in Jack’s 55th Birthday is given a «comic» turn to the topic.
Also with all this there is an agreement of exclusivity temporary between Sony and Capcom. Little thing: Banned Footage Vol. 1 will cost 9.99€ and will be released to PS4 the 31 of January, but Xbox One and PC it will have also the 21 of February. Banned Footage Vol. 2 will be a bit more expensive, €14.99, and reach PS4 on 14 February. In the other two platforms will be released together with the previous volume, the day 21.
Last, but not least, in the spring, there will be an another free downloadable episode. It will take by name Not a Hero and I am afraid that I may say little about it without releasing a moderately fat spoiler .
