BioWare and Electronic Arts, as they had promised yesterday, have released another trailer of its Mass Effect: Andromeda. This time the thing is focused on Ryder, new or the new main character, and the rest of the crew aboard the Hyperion. It is a change for the better, of course, after that disastrous video we saw earlier this month.
In the little group that will accompany us during this trip the Andromeda Galaxy there is a salariano, a turiana, a krogan (yuju!), that asari which we had seen before, and a couple of human comrades. I guess that you can lie down with all of them – anything else would be a disappointment for many fans – and with a couple of appliances, but at the moment they start here with the most traditional: the morreo with the blonde, a classic in every corner of the universe.
We also know the Archon, which has all the earmarks of being the antagonist here. With it we discover the kett, an alien race with rocky aspect which opens in the franchise. Also new are the angara, which seem to have come out of a crossover between Star Wars and the typical game Square Enix whose name you forgot long ago.
It is not a particularly memorable trailer, as I say, but a step in the right direction for a game that so far had not made us relive best memories as Shepard.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available on March 23.
