The Crypt of the NecroDancer, Amplified, expansion is now available on Steam. There is one peculiarity: will be in access during two months in advance.
Its makers explain that NecroDancer “is a game much better by all great reviews we receive from our community during the early access” and hence that they have decided to go for it for its first DLC, which will publish nearly two years after the game base.
The final version, which will have the same price, will include two new characters (including night, whose campaign is already in this early access, although not complete), «new modes, new objects and more».
Crypt of the NecroDancer, standard, advance access is one of those that can be put as an example of good use of this form of distribution, intended to achieve a plus of connection with the part of the community that follows more thoroughly your work and want to be more involved in the game. No objection here.
